The Rubicon trim gets new 17-inch wheels with different design options and two new colours this year.
Infotainment and Technology Features
A 7-inch touchscreen display with Uconnect 4 is standard across all trims. It gives access to various features, including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM and Bluetooth. Another 7-inch in-cluster digital display provides access to vehicle stats and navigation. Optional features include an Alpine premium audio system with noise cancellation.
Exterior Design
The 2023 Wrangler can be customized with special appearance packages. However, the vintage vertical grilles and round headlamps dominate the lineup. Base models feature a soft top, fog lamps, tow hooks and fender flairs. The standard wheels are 17-inch black-styled steel aluminum wheels, with an option for 18- or 20-inch wheels on higher trims.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
Despite not being the most spacious SUV, the Wrangler offers a blend of modern and vintage Jeep characteristics. Cloth surfaces are standard on most models, and you can choose black or tan. Available features include an Alpine premium audio system, heated seats, dual-zone temperature control and remote start.
Performance Features
A 2.0-litre I-4 Direct-Injection Turbocharged engine with Engine Stop/Start (ESS) technology is standard on the base models. The powertrain provides 270 horsepower, 295 lb-ft of torque and 907 kg of towing with a combined fuel efficiency of 10.3 L/100km. Optional upgrades include a 3.6-litre Pentastar VVT V6 with eTorque or a 3.6-litre Pentastar VVT V6 with ESS.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
With over 75 safety features, the 2023 Wrangler gives you confidence on and off the road. The adaptive cruise control maintains a preselected separation distance and can accelerate or decelerate as needed. Other features include a forward-facing camera system, parking assistance and forward collision warning.
